Physical
and mental health services have long been institutionally and
conceptually separate, making it harder to coordinate treatment for the
many people who need to access both services, and so increasing costs of
healthcare.
Psychologists have an important role in promoting whole person care, whatever the setting in which they work.
Our
speakers will outline the principles underpinning integrated mental and
physical health services and describe the operation of innovative
models in adult and child services in London.
Speakers include:
- Chris Naylor, King's Fund
- Tim Kent, the Tavistock Outreach Sercies to Primary Care in Camden & Hackney
