4th Year MPharm Poster Project

How Large Format Printing from UCL Educational Media helps research students at the UCL School of Pharmacy

The MPharm research project is conducted during the Autumn term, and includes a very diverse set of projects from Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical and biological chemistry. Some were conducted as part of the Study Abroad scheme, others in labs, hospitals, and community pharmacies, while some were data mining or meta-analysis projects.

For the assessment, each student prepares a portfolio to demonstrate the breadth of their work, a focussed research paper that could be published, and a high quality poster to highlight the key aspects of their work which are presented at the internal “Conference Day”.

Approximately 175 posters are presented each year on the same day in a standardised A1 portrait format printed by the UCL School of Pharmacy Multimedia Unit. The Multimedia Unit is completely run and supported by professional services staff from UCL Educational Media.
