Expertise: Deep Earth and terrestrial planetary cores
I use computers to understand Earth-like cores at extreme conditions of pressure and temperature. By simulating atoms in materials, we can understand so much about the Earth - from what it’s made of, to why we have a magnetic field.

More about Lidunka's expertise:
Why do we have earthquakes and volcanoes? Why do we have big mountains and deep trenches? It’s all because of what is going on in the deep Earth.
