My interest is studying bacteria, particularly the antibiotic resistance problem. I investigate how well antibiotics work and what happens when they don’t using laboratory techniques and mathematical modelling.

I am a 26-year-old Algerian who loves cooking, outdoor adventurous activities and spending time with family and friends. My interest in science started in my early teens and drove me to a career in biomedical science then to pursue a PhD at University College London (UCL).
