Family Event: Birds of a Feather - Make Together

Take flight with us at the Grant Museum of Zoology, and take part in a creative mask-making workshop that draws inspiration from our wonderful bird collection.
Birds are integral to many ecosystems, and some say we need them more than they need us. Join artist Fran Riando in a workshop that explores how birds help us, making your own bird-inspired mask to help get inside the head of birds.
This workshop is suitable for ages 6+ but young children will need adult help. We will have colouring sheets available for younger children.
If you would like to beat the crowds, the first hour is open exclusively for Grant Museum Family Members. The Museum will be open to Family Members from 10am.
