UCL Drama society presents RECLAMATION
Drama Society’s RECLAMATION is back! RECLAMATION is an annual Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) showcase, featuring performances exclusively put on by people of colour.
The showcase this year surrounds the “playing” of a series of “cassette tapes” found at a thrift store, each cassette tape representing a different performance. In the same way that items from a thrift store have hidden histories surrounding unique experiences, each story told within the showcase will expand our world view on the different life experiences POC may have and reclaim our stories that were overshadowed by white voices in the past.
