Using Recogito (recogito.pelagios.org), an online platform for semantic annotation, we will show how to create annotations of texts and images, and how to exploit the value of digital historical gazetteers to create, and share, map-based data visualisations; and how to use annotations as a way to investigate, collaboratively, historical digital sources.
All welcome and there will be drinks and discussion after the talk. Attendance is free but we kindly ask that you register for the event.
This event is organised by UCLDH, which is part of the Institute of Advanced Studies.
