Congratulations to George Thomas who has won Best Paper at the Lewy Body Dementia UK conference in Newcastle.

This was for his paper: “Longitudinal associations of magnetic susceptibility with clinical severity in Parkinson’s disease” published in the Journal Movement Disorders

November 2023

We were over the moon to be awarded a Prize for Sharing and Learning by the Parkinson’s Excellence Network. This was for our project “Patterns of Perception in Parkinson’s disease” that aimed to open up conversations about dementia in Parkinson’s.

June 2023

Congratulations to Ivelina Dobreva who was awarded a Rising Star in Public Engagement at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging. This was for her work supporting our project on Conversations about dementia in Parkinson’s.

Congratulations to George Thomas for winning the Brain Communications Early Career Researcher Paper Prize for his paper: “Changes in both top-down and bottom-up effective connectivity drive visual hallucinations in Parkinson’s disease”, published in Brain Communications.

January 2021

Congratulations to Angelika Zarkali who has won the Jon Driver Prize for Neuroscience, for the body of work she carried out in her PhD, examining the mechanisms of hallucinations in Lewy body dementia.
