After his award of the prestigious Croonian Medal, Prof Jonathan Ashmore will deliver the 2017 Croonian Lecture “Now you hear it, now you don’t: the neuroscience of deafness” at the Royal Society on May 15th.
Professor Jonathan Ashmore was awarded the Croonian Medal and Lecture 2017 from the Royal Society for his "significant contributions to the field of sensory neuroscience, shaping our current understanding of inner ear physiology, in particular for his analysis of the role of cochlear hair cells in normal hearing”
