This event will take place ONLINE.

It is one of two events: an earlier, in-person work-in-progress seminar will take place at UCL on Monday 21 November 1.10pm at which physical rare books can be viewed. Book for that event on Eventbrite here.

Dr. Yelda Nasifoglu is a UCL Special Collections visiting fellow at UCL's Research Institute For Collections during November 2022. At this event she will talk about the research she has conducted on UCL's Early Modern mathematics books during the fellowship. Her project, focused on the circulation of mathematical works in Britain up to c.1700, is entitled Reading and Collecting Mathematics in Early Modern Britain and examines Early Modern book catalogues and individual copies from the Graves Collection to gain more insight into the mathematical book trade of this period.

This event will take place on Zoom and will be recorded. The recording will not be available immediately after the event but is likely to be available on the UCL Special Collections YouTube channel at some point in the future, subject to permissions.
