2018 has been a busy year for Earth Sciences, which has included the relocation into our newly refurbished home in the Kathleen Lonsdale Building which was opened by Sir David Attenborough. Our academics have been busy monitoring current ice cover in polar regions; continuing investigations on the earliest evidence for life on Earth; driving forward policy on climate change and public understanding on preparing for volcanic eruptions, and finding a new dinosaur or two!
