My primary research areas are Behavioural and Experimental Economics. Motivated by theories from the literature in Behavioural Economics, I use laboratory experiments to investigate the effects of behavioural biases on individual decision making as well as in strategic interactions. In my job market paper, I study the effects that biased beliefs have on market outcomes. My other research papers show how information avoidance affects work performance and look at the role of reference points in consumption choices. My work can help in understanding the consequences of behavioural biases for markets and organisations.
