Prof Polina Bayvel Receives Prestigious Royal Society Research Professorship

Professor Bayvel CBE FRS FREng heads the Optical Networks Group and has made groundbreaking advancements in high-bandwidth, multi-wavelength optical communication networks. Her career has focused on maximising the speed and capacity of optical fibre systems and networks.
