A full set of teaching resources is available to download for the UCL Ocean Health Challenge. This includes PowerPoint slide decks to accompany each of the 10 lessons, as well as 14 high-quality documentary style videos featuring broadcasters and academics Dr. Helen Czerski, Dr. Zoe Laughlin and Dr. Fiona Truscott. In these videos, they teach students about the ocean ecosystem, the science of materials, and the engineering design process, respectively.
We have provided everything you need to run the challenge in your school, from lesson plans to supporting materials. Feel free to download, modify, add to, and even upload the resources to your school's learning platform. While the challenge is designed to take around ten hours, you're welcome to adapt it to suit your students and schedule. Whether you complete it in a shorter or longer time, we trust you as professionals to make it work for your setting.
