Charlotte Mitchell is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the UCL English Department. She was an undergraduate and postgraduate there and a teacher between 1988 and 2012.
She is interested in eighteenth-, nineteenth- and twentieth-century novelists, especially ones no-one else has heard of.
She is one of the editors of the online Letters of Charlotte Mary Yonge, the url of which has recently changed to https://c21ch.newcastle.edu.au/yonge/
Her article on Charlotte Yonge is forthcoming in a volume on Anglican Women Writers edited by Professor Alison Shell and the Rev. Canon Dr Judith Maltby, to be published by Bloomsbury.
She is currently working on an article on Joshua Reynolds.
