Diverse Founders’ Network event: Taking the leap with Black Seed

Overview

At this event you’ll hear about the journey and insights of Black Seed, Europe's first VC fund dedicated to Black founders.

As well as learning about the fund, you’ll hear from an inspiring startup founder who will talk about their journey and share practical insights for aspiring entrepreneurs.

There’ll also be a chance to network, ask questions and seek advice.

This event has been organised by the UCL Diverse Founders’ Network (DFN), a supportive intersectional community of diverse entrepreneurs.

Who it’s for

This event is open to UCL students, staff and alumni as well as founders and ecosystem builders.

Programme

6:30pm – opening drinks  
7pm – welcome address 
7:05pm – speaker session; a prominent Black founder will share their personal journey, including challenges and successes
7:15pm – Q&A with Black Seed team; discussion on how the fund works, the support on offer, and how students can get involved
7:50pm – audience questions
