London university startup mixer

Overview

Are you looking for collaborators for your early-stage startup? Are you interested in finding out more about early-stage startups and do you want to meet entrepreneurs with ideas?

Join us for our first London university startup mixer, where you'll hear from founders, be matched with likeminded people for short chats, and network.

This event is a collaboration between LSE, Imperial College London, Queen Mary University of London, King's College London, and UCL.

Who it’s for

This event is open to students and alumni from LSE, Imperial College London, Queen Mary University of London, King's College London, and UCL who either:

• have an early-stage startup or startup idea
• are interested in finding out more and possibly joining a startup

What to expect

When you register, tell us about your startup, your skills or your background, and we’ll pair you with people to talk with over the course of the evening.

For founders, there'll be time at the beginning of the event to pitch your idea to the whole audience. Please let us know when registering if you'd be interested in having a slot.

Programme

• 5:30pm - Arrivals, drinks, setup
• 6pm - One-minute pitches from entrepreneurs with idea-stage businesses
• 6:30pm - One-to-one chats with pre-selected attendees (each attendee should get about five 10-minute chats)
• 7:30pm - Networking and drinks

Photography 

Filming and photography will take place at this event for promotional purposes. The photographs and recordings will appear on our website and social media channels. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please let a member of staff know on arrival.
