The number of health economists at UCL has seen a constant growth over the last decade. Health economists though are spread out across several departments and faculties in UCL, with the majority located in the Faculty of Population Health Sciences. Although this spread enhances our work due to the multi-disciplinary nature of health economics, it can also make it challenging to identify health economists at UCL, limiting collaboration and support.
This launch event will showcase the vision for the Health Economics Policy Lab (HEPL) at UCL. The aim is to provide experts in health economics as well as those who work with health economists with information on what work is currently happening in the Faculty, as well as provide an opportunity for networking and collaboration. At the event we will also officially announce the launch of the HEPL website: a central location to obtain information about health economics at UCL.
This will be followed by a drinks reception.
Who it is for:
- Health Economists at UCL wanting to connect with each other and understand what the new HEPL is all about.
- People who work closely with health economists and want to get a better understanding of what work is currently happening in health economics in the Faculty of Population Health Sciences.
- Anyone who is interested in what health economics is and what health economics can add to your area of research.
A detailed agenda for the event will be shared shortly.
