Dr Clare Llewellyn, Lecturer in Behavioural
Obesity Research in the Department of Behavioural Science and Health, was
awarded a prize for 'Outstanding Research Supervision' in this year's Student
Choice Teaching Awards.
Over 1000 nominations were received for over 800
members of staff, as part of UCLU's biggest ever awards. The award for 'Outstanding Research
Supervision' celebrates members of staff who help research students reach their
fullest potential, as well as those who demonstrate the essential balance
between providing support and fostering independence. The awardees were announced formally at a
ceremony on June 5.
