If you need additional space you will need to raise a project request with the Estates Space Development team. No works should be carried out within the university without approval from UCL Estates.
Project requests now live on MyCampus
Estates have now launched project requests on MyCampus. From 28, October 2024, if you have a department-funded project or reasonable adjustment project you would like carried out, please go to the ‘Make a project request’ tile on MyCampus and submit your project request.
If you have a project request and do not see the ‘Make a project request’ tile on your MyCampus page, please contact your department / divisional manager to seek approval for the works you would like carried out and send approval to portfolioservices@ucl.ac.uk who will assist in granting you access to raise a project request.
We are making these enhancements to improve the overall customer experience and will continue to make improvements as we advance.
Immediate health and safety issues or office moves should be raised as a service request via MyCampus where the Maintenance team or porters will be able to assist.

Projects carried out directly by departments will not be compliant with our health and safety procedures and will be in breach of The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. > UCL Guidance on the maintenance and refurbishment of buildings
Project requests are only for minor works of under £75,000. If your work is over £75,000 you must go through your School Estates Strategy Board.
Please contact your Faculty Manager for the proposal process. Project requests can take up to two weeks to process.
