Passage on Malet Place restricted on afternoon of Saturday 15 June

5 June 2024

Between 7am-1pm a crane will deliver new roof extraction units to DMS Watson. These units will improve air handling within ground floor library cluster spaces. During operating hours the crane will be based by Darwin Walk and a section of Malet Place will be closed.

Buildings on Malet Place will only be accessible from either Torrington Place or South Quad until 1pm. After 1pm on Saturday 15 June we anticipate full access will be restored. The following buildings will be accessible from the entrance to Malet Place from Torrington Place:

The Roberts Building
Engineering Front Building (including Institue of Making and Materials Library)

These buildings can only be accessed from the South Quad until 1pm:

UCL Science Library and Medical Sciences Building
Foster Court
Petrie Museum of Archaeology
