About Damjan Kukovec
Dr. Damjan Kukovec earned his LLB at the Ljubljana School of Law and earned his master’s and doctoral degrees at Harvard Law School, receiving several grants and awards. Besides teaching at Harvard, he has taught at FGV Law School in Rio de Janeiro, at Kent Law School in Brussels, at the EUI in Florence, and at Middlesex School of Law in London.
He has practiced, among others, at the Legal Service of the European Commission, the Court of Justice of the European Union, and the Special Court for Sierra Leone. He successfully pleaded numerous cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union. He has published extensively.
He is now serving as Judge of the General Court of the European Union.
