Tell us a bit about yourself

I'm a first-year student studying BA Creative Arts and Humanities as part of the degree's first cohort and I’m from London.

What areas or topics of study are you interested in, and how have you explored them at UCL?

I’m interested in creative writing and performance which is why my degree is so perfect because it is an interdisciplinary creative course which involves writing, performance and film. I've also been involved in drama society shows this year and hope to do more next term.

Why are you interested in Europe?

I'm specifically interested in translated literature from across Europe and the breadth of experiences, cultures and perspectives represented by each country's literary canon. That's why I recently volunteered at the European Writers' Festival as part of their partnership with UCL and with my degree programme. I found it fulfilling getting involved in the festival because it introduced me to a whole range of literature from various European countries.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I hope I have a job working in the creative industries, working as a writer or in the theatre.
