European Studies
European Studies MA pathways
Our MA programmes and research opportunities focus on the emergence of modern Europe, the political implications of integration, and its transition from competing nation states and forms of governance to an expanding political and economic union. As part of the MA, students take complementary optional courses, which may be national, regional, or European in scope.
European Culture & Thought MA pathways
Our MA programmes and research opportunities consider the cultural and intellectual life of Europe. We equip students with the skills, methods, concepts and theories essential for most fields of European culture, society and thought, ranging across the events, traditions and texts of the entire continent.
