Research, partnerships and projects

An idea developed by UCL students is tackling food poverty and empowering Southeast Asian farmers. Rice Inc is set to revolutionise the way food is produced.

A collaborative research led by UCL and including researchers from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, has found that foetal membranes which surround and protect babies in the womb can heal themselves after injury.

An online citizen translation tool developed in partnership by UCL researcher with the New Zealand Red Cross is helping people at risk in an emergency access the information they need.

UCL and the National University of Singapore (NUS) jointly hosted a virtual neurobiology symposium.

UCL has committed to further collaboration with the University of Sydney (USyd) to explore and participate in shared teaching, training and research activities.

UCL has important institutional partnerships with two world-leading universities in this region: National University of Singapore, focusing particularly on the areas of artificial intelligence, cardiovascular medicine, dementia and neurodegeneration and nanotechnology, and the University of Sydney, which spans across all 11 UCL Faculties.
