Our world’s connectivity to the internet is at an unprecedented height, and it will continue to rise, thus making its security processes an issue of paramount importance for our lives. The project will investigate the process and outcomes of future-gazing and horizon-scanning activities undertaken in the internet security governance sector.

The reason for this approach is to understand how decision-makers and practitioners envision the future of their sector (in the process of creating it), and to understand what the process of creating the future visions looks like in practice. Ultimately, the project aims to understand how futures are created in the space of internet security governance due to the huge potential impact on human lives.
