UCL Health of the Public are recruiting new Early Careers Network Committee members
13 May 2024
We are recruiting new UCL Health of the Public ECN Committee members!
The Health of the Public Early Careers Network (ECN) was established in 2014 to support the professional development of early career researchers across UCL who have a research interest in any aspect of improving the health of the public.
Through regular events, we provide opportunities for researchers to develop skills, meet peers, share ideas and experiences, and initiate collaborations. Details of our ECN, useful resources and a summary of past and future events are available on our website.
We are currently recruiting new members to join the ECN committee to help build on the successes of our network and organise future events. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your networks across UCL and help shape the support Early Career Researchers are offered. You will work alongside our existing members and attend monthly committee meetings to develop a programme of activities, and lead in the organisation of at least one ECN event per year.
If you are an ECR with a population/public health interest (working in any faculty/discipline) and would like to join the ECN committee, please get in touch with l.mcgrath-lone@ucl.ac.uk by Fri 31st May.
The Committee aims to have representatives from across UCL. Researchers from the faculties of Arts & Humanities, Bartlett, Brain Sciences, Engineering Sciences, IoE, Laws, Life Sciences, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social & Historical Sciences are particularly encouraged to get in touch.
