About Muslim Network @ UCL
The Muslim Network @ UCL aims to provide Muslim staff with opportunities to connect, form professional alliances, offer peer support, and engage in social and professional events. Recognizing the challenges of connecting with colleagues across different departments, particularly within a large institution like UCL, the network seeks to create a supportive community for Muslim staff.
Microsoft Teams Network
The Muslim Network @ UCL has also established a virtual community on Microsoft Teams. This provides an informal and convenient way to discuss topics relevant to Muslim staff at UCL. We’ll also be putting information in relation to events and other exciting items here. Members are welcome to also provide notice of any Friday prayers that are organised on campus.

Events and Activities
The network organises events during lunch breaks and evenings to promote networking and community building. These events range from social gatherings to professional development opportunities.
Talks and Mentoring Scheme
In addition to networking events, the Muslim Network @ UCL hosts talks on various topics of interest to Muslim staff. We are also in the process of launching a buddy/mentoring scheme aimed at helping staff members with their professional development and career progression. This initiative will pair experienced staff with those looking for guidance and support, fostering a culture of mentorship within the network.
