Professional Development programmes for UCL staff who wish to develop their Leadership and Management capabilities and gain an accredited qualification.
As part of our commitment to support the professional development of our staff and to align our workforce with future UCL business needs, we offer two Leadership and Management Professional Development Programmes for managers at grade 7 upwards, to complement our existing leadership offer.
What is it?
Starting in January 2024, we launched two pilot programmes delivered by our training provider Corndel and funded through the UCL Apprenticeship Levy. They provide structured training, allowing you to enhance your career prospects through the development of valuable skills and earn a nationally recognised qualification as well as CMI Chartered Manager or Foundation Chartered Management Status.

Who is it for?
These programmes are designed for those who work as managers or senior leaders across UCL who wish to deepen their leadership expertise, apply new knowledge skills and behaviours within their current role and contribute to the organisation’s success.
These programmes are occupationally related, meaning that you will need to be in a role that provides sufficient scope to be able to apply your learning.
More information about the programmes and eligibility is available on the UCL Leadership and Management Professional Development Programmes Learner Hub.
