This document applies to Senior Academic General Practitioner's appointed to a post at Senior Lecturer level or above on or before 31 July 2005. Annex D applies to those whose first appointment to a post at Senior Lecturer (or equivalent) level or above was on or after 1August 2005. For the purposes of determining whether Annex C or D applies, the date of appointment on the new terms of employment will be regarded as the date on which the post was offered.
