Biography
Alhabib Abbas received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bahrain and the M.Sc. degree (Hons.) in Telecommunications from University College London. He received the Ph.D. degree from University College London focusing on Machine Learning and Compressed-Domain Signal Processing, under the supervision of Prof. Y. Andreopoulos. He joined the Communication and Information Systems Group, University College London, in 2015, where he is currently a Research Associate. His current research interests are in machine learning, learning theory, learnable compression, and error-tolerant computing.
