Machine learning for communications Professor Izzat Darwazeh is Director of the Institute of Communications and Connected Systems and is currently working with the Wireless World Research Forum to develop their work in Machine Learning. Izzat will provide an introduction to the application of Machine Learning in the arena of Communications and Connected Systems.

Machine learning and its developments at UCL Dr Miguel Rodrigues is Reader of Information Theory and Information Processing at The Institute of Communications and Connected Systems at UCL. He will provide an overview to the cutting-edge Machine Learning research and development being undertaken in the institute.

Industry applications  Demonstrations of Industrial approaches and applications to Machine Learning.

BT is the largest provider of fixed-line, mobile and broadband services in the UK, also providing subscription television and IT services. Vidhyalakshmi Karthikeyan, Principal Research Scientist at BT, will discuss application areas of Machine Learning in TV delivery and network management.

Hoxton Analytics is retail analysis firm based in East London, they use machine learning to provide a customer profile and analytics on footfall while preserving privacy.

ThingTrax is an Industrial IoT company using machine learning to transform the way manufacturing machinery is monitored, controlled and serviced.
