Barcelona: All Cancers

In Barcelona, there were 40,439 deaths from all cancers over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 23,760 male deaths and 16,679 female deaths and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Catalonia.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to all cancers in Barcelona is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.   For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
