Barcelona: Dementia

In Barcelona, there were 7,051 deaths from dementia over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 2,031 male deaths and 5,020 female deaths and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Catalonia.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to dementia in Barcelona is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.
