Brussels: Drugs

In Brussels, there were 71 deaths from drugs over the study period (2001 - 2004).  This figure consists of 54 male deaths and 17 female deaths and is based on death certificate records linked to Census data.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to drugs in Brussels is demonstrated in the maps below for men only.  Women have been excluded from this analysis, as female drug mortality did not occur in at least 30 percent of Brussels' small areas during the study period.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
