Madrid: Colon Cancer

In Madrid, there were 6,053 deaths from colon cancer over the study period (2000 - 2007).  This figure consists of 3,264 male deaths and 2,789 female deaths and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Madrid.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to colon cancer in Madrid is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
