Madrid: Dementia

In Madrid, there were 5,051 deaths from dementia over the study period (2000 - 2007).  This figure consists of 1,390 male deaths and 3,661 female deaths and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Madrid.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to dementia in Madrid is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
