Madrid: Liver Cancer

In Madrid, there were 3,261 deaths from liver cancer over the study period (2000 - 2007).  This figure consists of 2,073 male deaths and 1,188 female deaths and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Madrid.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to liver cancer in Madrid is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
