Madrid: Transport-related Injuries

In Madrid, there were 1,532 deaths from transport-related injuries over the study period (2000 - 2007).  This figure consists of 1,105 male deaths and 427 female deaths and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Madrid.  The spatial distribution of transport-related mortality in Madrid is demonstrated in the maps below for men only.  Women have been excluded from this analysis, as female transport-related mortality did not occur in at least 30 percent of Madrid's small areas during the study period.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
