Rotterdam: Liver Cancer

In Rotterdam, there were 359 deaths from liver cancer over the study period (1996 - 2008).  This figure consists of 215 male deaths and 144 female deaths and is based on data from the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Statistics Netherlands).  The spatial distribution of mortality due to liver cancer in Rotterdam is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
