Rotterdam: Rectal Cancer

In Rotterdam, there were 531 deaths from rectal cancer over the study period (1996 - 2008).  This figure consists of 272 male deaths and 259 female deaths and is based on data from the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Statistics Netherlands).  The spatial distribution of mortality due to rectal cancer in Rotterdam is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
