Stockholm: All Cancers

In Stockholm, there were 31,947 deaths from all cancers over the study period (2000 - 2007).  This figure consists of 15,918 male deaths and 16,029 female deaths and is based on register data from Statistics Sweden linked to death records from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to all cancers in Stockholm is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
