Stockholm: Transport-related Injuries

In Stockholm, there were 648 deaths from transport-related injuries over the study period (2000 - 2007).  This figure consists of 492 male deaths and 156 female deaths and is based on register data from Statistics Sweden linked to death records from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.  The spatial distribution of transport-related mortality in Stockholm is demonstrated in the maps below for men only. Women have been excluded from this analysis, as female transport-related mortality did not occur in at least 30 percent of Stockholm's small areas during the study period.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
