Dr Kaitlyn Regehr appointed as Associate Professor in Digital Humanities

UCL DIS is delighted to announce that Dr Kaitlyn Regehr will be joining us in June as Associate Professor in Digital Humanities. Kaitlyn's research on the cultural impacts of social media and other new technology, especially on the experiences of young people, is an important demonstration of the way in which Digital Humanities explores how we negotiate a digitally mediated life, applying perspectives from both technological and humanistic viewpoints. Her research has informed policy on gender and diversity in advertising for the Mayor of London, she has also conducted work on image-based abuse in youth digital relationship cultures and she has researched the use of digital video evidence in the criminal justice system.
