PhD candidate Michalis Constantinides presents his research on how ‘system leaders’ enact their leadership and use their knowledge, experience and values in order to tackle underperformance. The research allows insight into not only in a single school setting but across groups of schools.
The key purpose of Michalis’ study is to provide in-depth examples of MAT leader’s practices that have influenced the standards in performance of their MAT.
Secondly, he aims to collect evidence on leadership practices that have worked from the perspective of school middle/senior leaders, in terms of improving different aspects of school improvement processes in their schools.
