Higher education governance reform in Kazakhstan: translation of best practices to local universities
This study examines the series of reforms in higher education governance in Kazakhstan and its influences on faculty participation in institutional decision-making. The preliminary results of the pilot study show some challenges facing the universities in implementing best practices of university governance and positive developments resulting from it.
