Many products are made with children in mind, and images of children are also used in advertising. Children produce pictures themselves, which can tell us how they view the world. These practices build on ideas of children and childhood.
In this seminar, Johanna will discuss the visual commercial discourses of babies, regulations of visuality and culture, and the Swedish archive of children's art.
This event will be particularly useful for researchers, policy makers, teachers, students, social workers and play workers.
Please note this is a hybrid event and can be joined either in-person or online.
