In this seminar, the speakers will look at the evolving demand for graduate skills in the British workforce, leveraging a task-based approach using data from the Skills and Employment Survey Series.
Focusing on the changing importance of job tasks related to graduate skills, the research explores the mapping of these tasks to educational attainment, identifies the price employers pay for tasks requiring graduate skills, and addresses regional variations in graduate supply and demand.
More broadly, the analysis highlights the crucial role job tasks play in stratifying labor market outcomes in Britain.
This event will be particularly useful for researchers.
Please note this is a hybrid event and can be joined either in-person or online.
