The second in our Master Classes in Educational Technology series is given by Dr Abison Logeswaran, Registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital. The class is open to staff and students at UCL and Moorfields.

VR is already making a big impact on the world of education, resulting in a transformation of resources for teaching and learning by allowing students to explore and travel without leaving the classroom.

In this class, our speaker will share information about recent developments in VR, as well as practical exercises. Attendees will develop their knowledge of using VR in education and will be able to plan the implementation of VR in their teaching and learning.

About the speaker

Abison Longeswaran headshot
Dr Logeswaran is currently working as an ST5 Ophthalmology Registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He previously completed his MBBS/BSc at Imperial College London with distinctions in Medical and Clinical Science. He has a wide interest in the use of technology in healthcare, and specfically virtual Reality as a learning approach in healthcare. He completed his MSc in Health Informatics at City University London during his foundation training.
