Job details
The post-holder will be responsible for the acquisition and the analysis of tissue and blood samples. Duties will include storage and dispatch, compliance, extraction of DNA, logging tissue samples, autoclaving and safe disposal of blood and tissue waste.
This post is available from 1 October 2021 until 31 March 2022 with the possibility of extension subject to grant funding.
Key requirements
Substantial laboratory experience in managing the receipt, storage and dispatch of human blood and/or tissue samples. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as are good organisational skills.
